Lesson 16: Control In Systems
Look at the systems diagram. What do you think control could be?
Fact: Control of a system is also known as feedback. It is where the system gets more information to help it to work better (more efficiently).
What is open loop control?

What is the role of the thermistor in a heat pump? Why is it useful to have a heat sensor?
Choose a technological system to explore that uses control or feedback. Some examples are:
Continuing your project - Debugging
As you are working through your project, remember to test your code frequently. Leaving the debugging process to the end of the project can make it more difficult to find any bugs in your code.
-
When you complete each section of your program:
-
Read back through your lines of code one at a time. Does it still make sense?
-
What are the expected outcomes of this section? What should be displayed?
-
Run your program and check each instruction works correctly
If you get stuck or find a bug, remember to bring your rubber duck!
