Welcome to ByteEd’s exciting Learn Create eXperience online learning platform, designed to support New Zealand students and teachers in the exciting world of Digital Technologies!
All our content has been carefully constructed by our team of award-winning technology education experts, ensuring clear alignment is made to the Technology New Zealand Curriculum.
The Learn Create eXperience platform provides a common ground for teachers and students to ensure teachers have more time to support their students:
- Interactive web-based content for students to access at home, and write code (in the web browser!) without needing to install any bloated software development applications!
- Downloadable lesson-by-lesson slides for teachers to guide students in the classroom,
- Downloadable lesson-by-lesson handouts for students to complete.
What will we do?
Our programme covers a range of topics targeting the New Zealand Curriculum. The first course will include the following modules:
Programming for VR
- Introduction to VR programming and game design principles
- Diving deeper into programming for VR content
- Bringing it all together to create a mobile-VR app
That’s right! By the end of these modules, students will be creating their own Virtual Reality app that will run on their own mobile device! How exciting is that!?
