Get ready to create your own musical VR app, then run it on your own smartphone (or laptop/Chromebook), and share it with others!

Don’t have any programming experience? No worries! None required! In fact, if you know a tiny bit of HTML, then you will find this really simple! If you don’t know any HTML, it’s super easy to pick up and we’ll explain what we need to know as we go along!

We’re going to combine digital technologies together with audio, and create something similar to the following video. Your creation will definitely look differently, because you will be given the freedom to select your own textures, shapes, audio, etc:

What you will need to bring along

• If you have a laptop, bring it! This is intended to be an interactive workshop such that you create the VR experience,
• Chrome seems to be the best browser for what we will be doing (especially when it comes to playing the audio we incorporate).
• We’ll definitely need an internet connection!
• [Optional] If you have a smartphone, you might like to play-test your final creation in actual VR mode. But no worries if you don’t – we can see it running on the laptop.
